School planetarium reopens
On Saturday, 28 March, from 5 p.m., the Chemnitz school planetarium will be reopened at the Albert-Schweitzer-Oberschule Chemnitz at Albert-Köhler-Straße 48 in the presence of Jirka Meyer, Head of the Chemnitz City Education Authority. After a break of several months, the planetarium is now back in operation as an extracurricular learning centre and offer for Chemnitz schools.

Speed checks on the KOSMOS
From 10.00 am on Saturday 29 August until 2.00 am on Sunday 30 August, the Transport and Civil Engineering Authority will impose a 30 km/h speed limit on Hartmannstraße between Kaßbergstraße/Bergstraße and Theaterstraße. The aim is to ensure the safety of the KOSMOS event.
