From 26 October up to and including 20 November 2026, the castle’s exhibition rooms will be closed to the public. During this time, however, visitors can still look forward to a range of popular events, such as the puppet theatre and ‘Castle Whispers’. The wedding fair on 31 October and the arts and crafts market on 7 and 8 November will offer information, inspiration and personalised shopping experiences.
From 21 November 2026, the exhibition ‘7 Rooms – 10 Minds’ will offer insights into the region’s creative potential whilst also introducing the creative minds behind the exhibitions at the moated castle.
The castle’s visitor services and the other facilities within the complex are open as usual during their respective opening hours.
