On Cities – Farewell to the 2026 Chemnitz City Literature Fellows
Venue: TIETZ, Neue Sächsische Galerie
Admission: free
At the conclusion of their 2026 City of Chemnitz Literature Fellowship, writer and director Judith Kuckart and photographer Burkhard Peter will present the results of their residency in text and images. Chemnitz, as an urban landscape, will play a central role in this. At the same time, however, the Kuckart/Peter duo will attempt to unearth invisible stories of everyday life. The evening will be accompanied musically by Salome Ahmend on percussion and Raissa Mehner on guitar. The duo are said to embody the ‘heartbeat of freedom’.
