On 5 and 6 September, the popular Wildgatterfest will once again take place in Oberrabenstein. As well as the wildlife enclosure itself, which offers fascinating insights into the animal world, visitors can look forward to a colourful and varied programme centred on the forest, wildlife and crafts. Over two action-packed days featuring various games and craft stations as well as animal feeding sessions, you can enjoy an exciting time out in nature. Refreshments will also be available. It’s well worth a visit!

What do the animals at the zoo actually get up to in the evening and at night? Who goes to sleep and who really comes to life in the evening? We’ll be getting to the bottom of these and other questions here.
The 90-minute evening tour is suitable for children aged 12 and over, but is of course also open to adults.

At various interactive stations, we invite you to explore materials using all your senses. Different textures, shapes and natural materials such as feathers, fur, hay or straw can be looked at, touched and felt.

At this information session, we would like to introduce service providers in the fields of nursing, care and support for people with disabilities to the wide range of opportunities available at the zoo.

Participants will not only be treated to fascinating stories and interesting background information – they will also have the opportunity to consciously experience the special atmosphere of the place. During the tour, guests can enjoy the tranquillity of the surroundings, the closeness to nature and the often unique ambience of this time of day. The stories, impressions and little discoveries along the way make the tour a varied experience that invites you not only to listen but also to pause and marvel.
The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes. It is suitable for children aged 12 and over, though the tour is, of course, also aimed at adults.
Tickets can be purchased at the box office once your booking has been confirmed. Cancellations and participation with dogs are not permitted.
