On Tuesday, 12 August at 2 p.m., representatives of the media are invited to a press conference in the press room at City Hall, Markt 1. Lord Mayor Sven Schulze and Roger Rabenhold, Head of the City of Chemnitz Sports Department, will present the project "Walk of Fame of Chemnitz Sports - Arcade Design at the Marathon Tower in the Sports Forum". Torsten Püschel, the sports director of "Inklusiv gewinnt", will also present the "Inclusive wins" event, which is taking place in Chemnitz for the first time.
On Sunday, 17 August, the Walk of Fame of Sport Chemnitz will be inaugurated in the arcades at the Marathon Tower as an intervention area with a special exhibition as a project of the European Capital of Culture 2025 in the presence of many prominent athletes.
The sports festival "Inklusiv Gewinnt", organised by Wir.Bewegen.Sport. e. V., represented by patroness Wir.Bewegen.Sport. V., represented by patron Katarina Witt and Hagen Boßdorf, and framed by a family festival, will also take place at the Sportforum.
